Psychophysiology Lab

Psychophysiology Lab

The psychophysiology laboratory is designed as a classic electrophysiology measurement laboratory. It has a soundproof cabin (~36dB) with an experimental workstation. In this lab, a 64-channel actiCHamp Plus EEG system with active electrodes enables the measurement of electrical brain activity. A mobile 8-channel PLUX electrophysiology measurement system is available for recording peripheral measures such as heart rate, muscle activity or skin conductance. The experiment is controlled and the test persons are monitored from a workstation outside the cabin.

Psychomotor & VR Lab

Psychomotor & VR Lab

The Psychomotor Lab is designed for conducting real-world and virtual-reality experiments. Central components of this laboratory are a combined NIRSport 2 fNIRS / 64-Kanal LiveAmp EEG system with active electrodes and two VIVE Pro 2 VR systems. The fNIRS/EEG Brain Imaging System is fully WiFi supported and can be used both in the laboratory and in the nearby surroundings of building 3011. Both components can also be used independently of each other. The VR system is also suitable for mobile experimental setups, but these are limited to the laboratory.
