Individual experiments

At CNSR, researchers can conduct EEG, fNIRS, and eye-tracking experiments in traditional laboratory settings. The primary goal is typically to carry out both stimulation and measurement under highly controlled conditions. This approach is especially well suited to research questions where precise stimulus presentation, standardized experimental procedures, and high data quality are central priorities.

Examples of this type of application include experiments on perception, attention, memory performance, language processing, or decision-making, in which visual, auditory, or multimodal stimuli are presented in a controlled manner. Depending on the research question, EEG, fNIRS, and eye-tracking data can be collected individually or in combination to capture neurophysiological and gaze-based processes while participants complete experimental tasks.

Below, we provide an overview of our equipment. Detailed device specifications are available on our Equipment page. Please select EEG, fNIRS, or eye tracking.

Use of the equipment is not tied to a specific laboratory, allowing for a high degree of flexibility. See here for an overview of laboratories.

We are happy to advise you on selecting and configuring the equipment best suited to your project.
